The Man Who Loved His Country

What a sad day today is. Mudane Aden Abdulle Osman passed away at the age of 99. I’m truly sadden at this news, but more than that, I’m proud of this true humble servant of his people. Aden Abdulle is the first African leader to voluntarily leave office after a democratic election defeat, what a courageous and honorable example it was for the future African leaders. Some have lived up to it, but most haven’t. His family said his dream was to see peace and stability in Somalia. True patriot to the end. May Allah have mercy on his soul, and give his family patient. Aamin.
